Where PillStation can be used?

PillStation is ideal for individuals living independently in the community, in Independent Living or Assisted Living communities.

Do I need a PillStation?

Are you taking more than 5 medicines per day?
Do you ever get confused about your medications?
Do you ever forget to refill a prescription?
Do you need assistance from a family member or caregiver?
Have pain medicines or tranquilizer been lost or stolen?

What is needed to use PillStation?

PillStation can work on your internet connection or with a traditional telephone line.

What languages does PillStation support?

English
On-going development to support Spanish, Vietnamese, and French.
Full support for additional languages can be added in less than three months.

5.
Do I need to be trained to operate PillStation?

No training is required. PillStation is based on the most common medication organizer in use today: day of the week, time of the day.

If my Doctor prescribes me a new medication, what do I do?

Press the CALL button on your PillStation, a SentiCare Advisor will contact you.  When the SentiCare Advisor contacts you provide the advisor with your new prescription information.   We will update your records to reflect these changes.

Who needs the PillStation service?

Those individuals who require medication reminders and alerts.

How many medications can the PillStation monitor?

By taking into account the use of modern pharmaceutical for controlled
release, PillStation has been designed to monitor up to 10 medications
in the morning, 6 during the day, and 7 at night. With multiple trays,
any number of medications can be accommodated.

What if I am away from the PillStation or if I am traveling?

You can take the day bin out and place in your purse
or pocket. Be sure to press the Call button and inform your advisor of
this. Out for multiple days – Remove full tray and pack with your luggage. Be sure to press the Call button and inform your advisor of this. Away for weeks or months – Call your Advisor and PillStation associated with your information will arrive at your destination. There may be additional handling and mailing charges. Of course you can also take your PillStation with you if you wish.

How do I order a PillStation for my loved one or myself?

Will my insurer, Medicaid, or Medicare will cover part of the cost?

We are actively working with several major insurers and Medicare
administration. Please contact us.
